Happy Foundation Day!

On 8 February 1916, Pymble Ladies’ College, formerly known as Presbyterian Ladies’ College Pymble, officially opened with 60 girls on the roll, 20 of whom were Boarders. In its 107-year history, many Pymble girls have walked our grounds and the College has helped forge paths for women where there were none. Pymble has seen vast growth, but we are continually reminded of the contributions of those who have come before us.

On Foundation Day, we celebrate our history and the enduring spirit of our community.

We were delighted to welcome some of our lovely alumni back to the College for our Foundation Day celebrations on Wednesday 8 March.  These ladies have had a long association with the College, some of whom left school over 70 years ago. Thank you for the contributions you make to our College community. Also, a a special mention to Pippa Kensit (2012) for being a wonderful and inspiring guest speaker!

Once a Pymble girl, always a Pymble girl.

We hope you enjoy these photos below that were taken in the early years of the College. if you are Interested in reading more about Pymble’s history,  This is Pymble is a booklet  created in 2021 to celebrate our 105-year anniversary.
