Alumni Relations Manager Update
It has been a wonderful and eventful start to the year at Pymble, with many meaningful opportunities to celebrate the enduring strength of our Alumni community and the special connections that continue across generations.
A personal highlight this term was celebrating Foundation Day as the College marked its 110 year anniversary. It was a special moment for our entire community to reflect on the pioneering women who helped shape Pymble’s rich history and legacy. We were delighted to welcome back 35 Alumni who generously shared stories of their own Pymble journeys with our current students, further strengthening the bond between past and present.
We were also honoured to welcome Carmen Bolton (2002) as our Foundation Day guest speaker. Carmen shared her inspiring career journey from marketing to marine conservation, where she now works to protect shark species around the world. Her message of courage, passion and embracing opportunities beyond one’s comfort zone resonated deeply with students and staff alike.
Looking ahead, we are delighted to invite Alumni and their families to experience the wonders of Vision Valley on Saturday 2 August. This special morning will include tours of the property, fun activities and a light morning tea. Current Pymble students, alongside qualified Vision Valley staff, will help facilitate the experience, creating another wonderful opportunity for connection across our community.
Another exciting milestone for the College this year has been the unveiling of our new Pymble Ladies’ College uniform. More than three years in development, the updated collection reflects valuable feedback from students, parents, Alumni and staff. Thoughtfully designed to honour Pymble’s 110-year heritage while prioritising comfort, practicality and contemporary style, the new uniform also introduces the long-requested option of pants and a more sustainable, streamlined collection.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support, enthusiasm and connection to the College. Our Alumni community remains such an important part of Pymble’s story, and we look forward to sharing many more special moments with you throughout the year.
