Farewell to Sabina Turner

A heartfelt thank you to a Pymble legend. After 37 years of service at Pymble, our Director of Co-curricular Performing Arts, Mrs Sabina Turner, has made the decision to retire and embark on new adventures with her family.

Mrs Turner is one of Pymble‘s living treasures, a showstopper of a teacher who has generously, joyfully and enthusiastically dedicated her life to giving the gift of music and performing arts to generations of Pymble girls and our wider community.

We farewelled Mrs Turner at a staff event and our Term 2 Ensemble Concert, which ended with a surprise episode of ‘This Is Your Life’. It was very special to come together at both occasions to reflect on Sabina’s years at the College, first as a Pymble Boarder and then in numerous roles during her 37 years of teaching and leading departments, and to celebrate the extraordinary legacy she leaves.

Thank you, Sabina for your years of dedicated service, enthusiasm and passionate energy. You were a key producer for the musical soundtrack of our College for many years, and we are profoundly grateful.
